学生 are welcome to apply for first-year admission to Barnard if they are current high school students or high school graduates who have completed fewer than 24 credits at another postsecondary institution.

Learn more about the variety of programs available to provide academic support and enrichment throughout your four years at Barnard. These include the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP), the Science Pathways Scholars Program (SP2), the 杰出学者 Program, and our Lesson Exchange program with the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music.
JTS Double Degree Program
Barnard provides a unique opportunity to pursue a double degree with List College at the Jewish Theological Seminary. This rigorous program allows students to complete a full liberal arts and science degree at Barnard, while also exploring majors such as Jewish Thought, 米德拉什, or Jewish Gender and Women’s Studies within a vibrant, pluralistic community at List College.

Barnard welcomes applications from homeschooled students. Homeschooled applicants follow the same guidelines as all other applicants with some exceptions to the transcript and letters of recommendation.
